Fair Trading Approved Course
Course Outline
This Course is an introduction to the obligations that an Owner Builder will undertake when managing the construction work being carried out on their property. You will be required to get an owner builder permit when the work exceeds $20,000
White Card Online

Anyone who works on a construction site in Australia is required to do construction induction training and get their White Card. As an owner builder you property is a construction site. Fair Trading will ask you for valid white card when you go to apply for your permit.

Course Outline
This course will prepare you to assist teachers in the classroom and provide additional support for student learning and development. You will learn how comply with legislative, policy and industrial requirements to assist with planned educational programs and the encouragement of good behaviour in young people. You will also learn how to plan a lesson, facilitate a class, supervise students and respond to diverse student needs.

Course Outline
The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113) will teach you many facets of how to educate and care for babies, toddlers and children. You will learn how to ensure children’s health and safety, including promoting healthy eating, work effectively using learning and ethical frameworks, and support the physical and emotional wellbeing of children. Additionally, you will learn how to provide experiences of play and learning to support children’s development among a range of other excellent child caring and work -based skills.

Yes. You must have successfully completed the Whitecard course (CPCCWHS1001 - Working Safely in the Construction Industry).
Owner-builder work is essentially any work (in addition to organising and supervising) involving the construction of, or alterations, repairs or additions to a dwelling:
Where the reasonable market cost (inclusive of materials and labour) exceeds $10,000 and is in relation to a single dwelling-house, a secondary dwelling (possibly in special cases an owner-builder permit may be granted for dual occupancy).
When there is a need for development approval within Part 4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979., or a complying development within Part 4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
If the market value (inclusive of the materials and labour) of the residential building exceeds $20,000, you will need to do the NSW Owner Builder Course to evidence that you have in fact met the Owner Builder education requirements stipulated by Fair Trading. Without the Owner Builder education certification, you will not qualify to receive the Owner Builder Permit.

As an Owner Builder you are certified to hold an Owner Builders Permit. The Owner Builders Permit does not qualify you to be a builder. A builder holds a building licence.
Your Owner Builder Permit does not allow you to do the following work on other projects outside of your development application or complying development certificate specialist licensed work like electrical, plumbing, gasfitting and the like.
It is an offence for the holder of an Owner builder permit to employ any unlicensed workers allow anyone to use your permit not be willingly to provide the particulars of your works working on the site.
The maximum penalty for each offence breached is $22,000.

Upon successfully completing the Whitecard course you will have a Statement of Attainment emailed to you as well.
Yes, you can use your whitecard providing you still do construction work within 2 years of your training. Otherwise, your whitecard will become void and you will need to redo the whitecard course again.
You can use your blue card and don’t have to do the whitecard course.
The NSW green card is no longer valid in NSW or any other state. You will need to do the whitecard course again.
There is no need to for a Statutory Declaration Forms. We have replaced the Statutory Declaration with a quick Audio and Video verification.
Self-Paced Online Learning
To successfully complete your studies in the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113) you will need to initiate contact with a registered child care facility to complete workplace based experience to solidify your practical experience and skills in working with babies, toddlers and children (minimum 120 hours and maximum 240 hours).
To successfully complete the work placement for the course Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213), you will need to contact both primary and secondary schools to gain practical experience working with students. A minimum number of 100 hours is required to complete your work placement.
Maximum 12 months.
Minimum 6 months and maximum of 12 months.
